OVER AND OVER words never say what I wanted to say feelings evade being captured in a phrase so I won’t contrive any clever lines. it feels so fine to be your friend and I’ll keep on telling you over and over and over again, I love you you did not speak when you reached into me. you listened to my song and sang the harmony laughter and tears, joys and fears keep flowing by… they do not end and I hear you telling me over and over and over again, I love you let me say it while it’s here- whether it be one more day or years and years your love shines through. it’s very clear. I look inside and you are near so let our souls keep dancing to the music of the heart our spirits sing together. we will never be apart and every new day is another chance to say how great it feels to be your friend I don’t mind telling you over and over and over again, I love you I love you c Linda Worster 1979

the singer 04:04
THE SINGER just like a dream, you come only at night dancing in shadow… safe… out of sight… singing a song that was written to be the song that I’ve always heard singing in me and I love you because you’re the singer I love you because you’re the song of my life and yet, you remain alone in the darkness and I only listen and wait for the light just like a dream, you slip into my mind silently singing… you stand at the edge and the melody echoes through all of the corners and fills in the empty space I fear to tread and I love you because you’re the singer I love you because you’re the song of my life but is your reality a truth I can see or are you in truth, a reflection of me? just like a dream, you come only at night dancing in shadow… safe… out of sight… singing a song that was written to be the song that I’ve always heard singing in me and I love you because you’re the singer I love you because you’re the song of my life and yet, you remain alone in the darkness and I only CAN listen and wait for the light c Linda Worster 1977, 2005

honest eyes 03:26
HONEST EYES by Linda Worster I can feel the confrontation coming miles away. It’s the look on your face, the things you don’t say and those honest eyes so plainly revealing the play of emotion, the circle of feeling. It seems like such a long, long time since I’ve seen such honest eyes. Fighting my impulse… afraid that you’re knowing… how much I want you… It’s more than I’m showing. It wouldn’t be wise to let you see why. It’s so hard not to touch you, but this isn’t the time. So much of me responds to those honest eyes. Honest eyes, I can’t look too deeply Or you’ll see the truth I’ve been hiding discreetly away. You’ll see the loneliness there. Somehow I think it just wouldn’t be fair. Maybe tomorrow, I’ll be able to tell you But I’m holding back now so I don’t overwhelm you. Feelings are fragile, so hard to be healed. It’s so easy using words as a shield so I don’t end lost in those honest eyes. Honest eyes I can’t look too deeply Or you’ll see the truth I’ve been hiding discreetly away. You’ll see the loneliness there. Somehow I think it just wouldn’t be fair. C Linda Worster 1979

MUSIC OF OUR CHANGES once again the seasons change the summer into fall a flower in me shines and feels it all and I run now thru damp deserted moors the tired grey lady-veiled in mist on her shores and north of here, the summer heat is dying in a blaze but N summer nods and smiles and softly fades a season of waiting is upon me once more God know what the winter wind has in store of...the changes are upon us I listen hard and add my voice to the chorus emotions and passions, they too feel the frost it is life turning inward not love that is lost and i run now thru a damp deserted time a tired gray lady-veiled in mist of mind we too have our seasons - and now we will sleep to the music of our changes and dreams from the deep Chorus once again my seasons change my summer into fall heart and spirit shiver but they answer the call and i run now thru the ashes of my answers I wait for the spring to turn me back to a dancer and part of me is summer heat dying in a blaze and part of me N - as she softly fades. c Linda Worster 1977, 2005

that's all 03:35
THAT’S ALL c Linda Worster 1978 I don’t care what it was you did. It’s time you were unlocking all the feelings that you hid Don’t be afraid of a you that will show Just let it flow. Let it go I don’t love you just because you’re nice to me I don’t love you only when you smile And I don’t love you just because of all the beautiful things that you do I just love you I just love you because you are you That’s all. Just because you are you. I know how it feels to be tired and confused It’s living and dying and you have to choose And sometimes it seems like there’s no difference between the two Oh but I don’t love you only when you’re not afraid I don’t love you just because I should And I don’t love you just because sometimes you make me feel so good I just love you I just love you because you are you That’s all. Just because you are you. It’s ok if we’re angry or hurt But hanging on to those feelings only makes them worse We could have loved ourselves and turned it to hate But everyone has their share of mistakes I don’t love you only when you’re right I don’t hate you when you’re wrong And I don’t love you only when you’re feeling strong… it’s true I just love you I just love you because you are you That’s all. Just because you are you.
