once again the seasons change the summer into fall
a flower in me shines and feels it all
and I run now thru damp deserted moors
the tired grey lady-veiled in mist on her shores
and north of here, the summer heat is dying in a blaze
but N summer nods and smiles and softly fades
a season of waiting is upon me once more
God know what the winter wind has in store
of...the changes are upon us
I listen hard and add my voice to the chorus
emotions and passions, they too feel the frost
it is life turning inward not love that is lost
and i run now thru a damp deserted time
a tired gray lady-veiled in mist of mind
we too have our seasons - and now we will sleep
to the music of our changes and dreams from the deep
Chorus
once again my seasons change my summer into fall
heart and spirit shiver but they answer the call
and i run now thru the ashes of my answers
I wait for the spring to turn me back to a dancer
and part of me is summer heat dying in a blaze
and part of me N - as she softly fades.
